Page under construction

I am very busy delivering the Kickstarter campaign perks, but in the free time I come here and to other pages of the website and fix things. This page will have examples, tutorials and more in depth details. You can contact us for any direct and specific question.

16-leds

16 LEDs on PORT B and PORT C

Each of the pins 50-53, 10-13 and 22-29 have an LED and transistor connected to it. The resistor is 2K Ohm and the LED uses less than 1 mA. It is connected directly to ground, and each of these pins has basically a pulldown.

3-leds

3 colored user LEDs and user Button

Each of the pins 39-41 have an LED and transistor connected to it. The resistor is 2K Ohm and the LED uses less than 1 mA. It is connected directly to ground, and each of these pins has basically a pulldown. There is no access to these pins, but only the possibility to turn on the LEDs. The push button is connected to ground.

oled

OLED Direct plugin

The OLED display you find in our shop plugs directly into the pins SDA-SCL-5V-GND. These 4 pins are just above the UART pins

esp01

WiFi direct plugin

The ESP-01 plugs directly into the HeroCore, at the top part. It has 2 mosfets for logic shift from 5V to 3.3V and a voltage regulator of 750 mA @ 3.3V

servo

4 Servos direct plugin

The 4 Servos plug directly into pin 49, 13, 29 and 37. Two of them have an LED connected to them, for direct feedback. Use the PWM library (link will be here)

switches

8 switches

When using the switches, and setting them to ON, please use the pins 2-9 as input, since they are connected to a pulldown, and to each other. When used as input the will read 0, or LOW, when switch is set to ON, as it connects them to a pulldown. This is because ATMega2560 allows you to use internal pullup, that will be sensed when the switch is set to OFF,hence HIGH.

analog

Analog Inputs

A1, A3, A5, and A7 inputs are normal, 0-5V. A0, A2, A4, A6 have a voltage divider to read up to 50V (image needs to be updated). A8, A10, A12, and A14 have a cpacitor of 10uF that helps them being more stable, and is connected in parallel to them and ground. A9, A11, A13 and A15 are connected to a 220 Ohm rsistor, and to ground, building half a voltage divider, and allowing to use sensors as current based, like the industry standard 4-20 mA
